Mw 6.6 Fiji Region

On 30 September 2018 a strong earthquake occurred in the Fiji Region at a depth of 546 km. The seismic event occurred at 10:52:22 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.6.

Following the critical planetary geometry on the 23rd and especially on the 26th (VePG), additional geometry occurred in the morning of the 30th, most notably Mercury-Sun-Uranus. Later on the same day lunar geometry peaked index 12.
